This installation features a high-pressure ID fan design with a shrouded and oversized impeller for an industrial dryer.
The fan was designed for a 325° F operating temperature along with a minimum temperature rating of -40°F. The housing was split for impeller removal in the field and all lubrication lines were extended for easy maintenance access. The dryer removes moisture in the production process with a direct combustion-heated gas stream, using the ID fan to pull the gas through the system.
Performance: 14,000 cfm airflow @ 30” wg static pressure @ 0.04 lb/ft^3 inlet air density
