This fan is a critical component of a dual-fan scrubber skid, designed specifically for environmental remediation. The end-user deploys it at contaminated sites to harness heat which penetrates deep into the earth to release harmful toxins in vapor form. The fan provides powerful vacuum extraction, pulling these vapors through the scrubber system, where they are treated and safely released into the atmosphere.

This Dilution Air application required a high-pressure blower on a process skid with a redundant fan and a direct drive motor. The high pressure blower design features a shrouded wheel to move low volumes of air at high static pressures with high operating efficiency.
We designed a custom high-pressure purge blower with a high-efficiency shrouded radial blade wheel design for an engine exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system application.
We reverse-engineered an existing blower for a drop-in replacement at a pulp and paper mill. Custom-designed entirely with stainless steel, the high-pressure replacement blower includes a flanged and drilled outlet to match the existing connection points and a studded inlet to reuse the customer’s inlet transition. It also has a severe-duty motor.
This installation is an example of a purge air system utilizing an AMCA Type “A” Spark Resistant Exhaust Blower. Designed for the OEM as part of the larger purge system to help prevent contamination of electrical surfaces from overheating, corrosive gasses, and dirt by moving clean air through the system. This high-pressure arrangement-1 blower features an aluminum fan wheel and housing for spark resistance.
AirPro recently built a couple of high pressure blowers for a US paper mill upgrading their power-generating boiler system from coal to biomass. The blowers are supplying the combustion air for the new burner system. Special attention had to be given to proper pressure and air flow as the blowers were required to be located a floor below the actual boiler due to space restrictions. AirPro supplied the fan skid complete with inlet filters/silencers and installed the damper/actuator system, designed and supplied by the plant manager/project engineer overseeing the project.
