AirPro built this hefty backward inclined, high volume, single width fan for a track kiln that dries pressure treated poles by delivering heated air from a burner to the kiln. It then recirculates a portion of hot air in the kiln to maintain a set temperature.

This belt-driven arrangement 1 size 730 fan is highly efficient due to the flat, backward inclined blades that minimize interference with airflow. This type of fan is suited perfectly for this high temperature kiln application with a maximum design temperature of 400ºF. The horizontally split housing sits on a unitary base with v-belts shrouded in carbon steel. The wheel material consists of high-temp carbon steel. This BIHS design also offers lower sound levels and more efficient energy use than other fan types.
