Expanding Production Capacity to Meet Demand and Exceed Expectations

We’ve been fortunate to experience record demands over the past few years, and have grown right along with it at a dizzying pace. In 2021, we announced a plant expansion and dramatic workforce growth. Since then, we have succeeded in expanding production capacity at our existing facilities by 30 percent. It’s made a great difference in our ability to keep up with the needs of our customers even during continued material cost and supply chain challenges.

Now, we’re thrilled to announce the purchase of an additional facility to further expand production capacity. The new building, located just a mile and a half from our headquarters in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, will add 25,000 square feet of space to receive materials, prepare steel, and stage parts for fabrication.

Expanded Production Capacity Operational in April

Previously owned by Aqualand Manufacturing, a custom fabricator since 1959 with a specialty line of Marine Products, the facility will convert quickly and come online for AirPro’s expanded production capacity in April of 2022.

“We started out last year with plans to build a new facility from the ground up, but the extraordinary situation with rapid increases in the cost of building materials, long lead times, labor shortages, and lingering supply chain challenges made it completely impractical and counterproductive in that critical moment,” explains President and Founder Keith White. “We are pleased to have been able to complete the necessary renovations to our existing facilities despite all of that, but finding this building so nearby was the perfect solution for the net new production capacity.”

The additional production capacity will allow for streamlined material handling and steel processing. It will allow us to remove current bottlenecks in the process to help maintain our process excellence, on-time delivery, and reliability while continuing to grow at record rates.
