If your manufacturing process involves applications like ovens, furnaces, boilers, and dryers, there’s a fan involved in the heating process. Industries like food processing, energy, paper, pulp, plastics, metals, and glass rely on combustion for heating and drying purposes.
Air and heat are two essential components of industrial process manufacturing. Air serves as the conveyor, and heat is a transformer. In applications using high-temperature blower fans, both processes are happening together or in close proximity. That means the fans in these applications need to be able to take the heat, and in many cases, accompany corrosive gasses.
FD fans create positive air pressure and volume at the outlet to push air through the system. For reference, fans are either forced or induced draft. Induced draft fan (ID fan) applications focus pressure at the inlet. You can read more on ID fans here.
